Preparing loads for lifting and positioning, determining resources required for a lifting operation, storing related resources for further use, technical requirements to achieve moving, lifting and positioning, dismantling of engineering construction assemblies for movement, preparing the work area and equipment required for moving, lifting and positioning, organisation of work activities in relation to movement of loads, and technical leadership in the movement of loads.
Achievement of this qualification will provide opportunities to progress to further qualifications at Level 3 in Management. As part of lifelong learning ECITB encourages learner progression. This qualification offers employment opportunities as individuals are demonstrating occupational competence by qualification achievement.
Candidates must achieve 62 credits by completing all of the 7 mandatory units plus 1 further unit from the optional units.
