TARGET DELEGATES
The target group for the Rigger Competence assessment is personnel who wish to become an NPORs certified competent rigger.
COURSE AIM AND CONTENTS
The aim and objectives of the NPORs competence assessments are to establish that the candidate has the required underpinning knowledge, understanding and practical skills to fulfil the role of Rigger safely and effectively.
ASSESSMENT CONTENT
An NPORs Rigger Competence Assessment includes:
- Knowledge assessment – a ‘closed book’ written test with a pass mark of 80%.
- Practical assessment – leading and assisting in two lifting operations which will be conducted on JB Training and Lifting Solutions, state-of-the-art rigging frame within the Rigging and Lifting center.
CERTIFICATION
Successful candidates will be awarded a NPORs Trained Operator card endorsed with the category Rigger/Fleeting which is valid for 3 years.
